made my first blog page! it's a little bone mounting guide, and a bit of an experiment. working on making writing blog posts easier, and better set-out!

spent an extremely long time trying to work out how to get the images in the art gallery to zoom. but i got there! there is now some of my art to peruse in the gallery, with more to come soon. give them a click!

drew up a background and my beetlecraft icon (it came to me in a dream) :) added them, just got to work on the icons placement!

finally sat down and tried to wrap my head around some code. gotta work on colour scheme, and draw some fun lil bits for this site! but i'm enjoying the challenge :))

howdy!! i'm ace, and i am trying my best

i make a lot of crafts, and look at a lot of bugs (and bones, and other scavenged goods), and make a lot of crafts of bugs! i wanted somewhere to collate them, even just for my own enjoyment.

so with no knowledge of html or websites, i set out to make this blog-adjacent website!

once up and running, expect: pictures of bugs, crafts of bugs (inc. crochet, painting, drawing, linoprints, clay, junk journaling among others), pictures of things Found In The Woods, an appreciation of nature and rambles about that, entomology and plant rambles, and probably some other stuff.

but lots of bugs.
