WIP: Mycelium network!

Like the fungal mycelium network connects plant and fungal life in the rich abundance of the soil, here too does my little website connect to many others. This page links to other websites I think are cool and worth checking out, as well as some handy resources for site-building, fun websurfing sites and anything else I decide would benefit this growing ecosystem.

Cool sites!

Nature resources!

These links will send you to various cool resources about nature, insects and citizen science!

Identifying Australian butterflies and moths

The absolute gold-standard for identifying and learning about Australian butterflies and moths. Has fantastic photos of all life-stages, lists foodplants, and also has an incredibly handy caterpillar identification tool. Truly a work of love and dedication by many lepidoptera bug-nerds!

Indentifying other Australian insects

Uses dichotomous key to help identify insects, as well as identifying by image to narrow your search down to a insect family.

Fun Websites!

Games!

What's in my bag?

A cute game where you can create a virtual what's in my bag with loads of super cute hand drawn details, including pins, books and emotional support water bottles.

Little Alchemy 2

A game where you combine elements into new elements, and then combine them again. Weirdly addictive, this reminds me of a game I played on my iPod as a teen so it makes me feel that warm glow of nostalgia.

Music & Soundtracks

Radio garden

I used radio garden a lot when I was studying, as music helps me focus - but not if my brain gets distracted by the lyrics of a song. So listening to radio in a language I don't understand was perfect. Also great if you're learning a language to hear it spoken normally!
